This should have enough defense and HP to survive around 2 hits so you have room for error having ~100 hp seems to do the trick. You're not immune to stun attacks however, and some enemies will wreck you if you dash into something that stuns.ġ0 greed is good for the gold bonus to help ensure you don't miss food upgrades and extra health to help offset the penalties. I do this by collecting items that raise my defense till its almost to the 75 r. The dash invulnerability thanks to 20 swiftness is essential since you're a glass cannon, and chaining dashes back-to-back is both a powerful DPS option with spear weapons and a great panic button. All it takes to get there is playing through the entire game one more time. Red pickaxe, Hecate or even a Berdysh/Niflheim's spear are all amazing. It relies on some good item luck unfortunately, but if you can save a godlike weapon with 20 mystic from a prior run you should be set. Accessories: defense and optionally crit chance if you find dice/hammer.Food: primarily to maximize DPS (varies on what good weapons you find but mainly power+attack speed), some defense/HP.Most will tell you you need the invulnerable when dashing perk to clear hard mode to which i again impolitely respond.no you don't just git gudĪll that being said i'm still terrible because i need a healing handicap and a good starting weapon/foods early-not able to just dive in and clear with any random weapon gear setup like a boss.So far, the best build I've found is the following: maybe be better to put the 5 in armor tree so i always start with a magic shield hmm. whatever the strat is it sounds 10000% more cheesy to me than i'm going to keep this item i like it it heals me its good enough.Ĭurrently using 20 points in mystic 10 in the jumping tree and 5 in the wrath thing although it seems mostly useless but i see it heal me for 1-3 hp every so often.

You say taking blood of srobeo back is cheese but at least its not creating copies of my save file to spend an hour reloading till i get the 2 legendaries i want then changed my. I personally don't like any of the guns i prefer the thunder kunai over most weapons for the 1st few floors i can get past nifelhiem easy as pie with one. I have now beat it on hard mode tried to use the hecate didnt like it dont really like muramasa either i was asking him why hes want a reloading gun over a melee weapon. I always rather take items that ll 100% make me finish the run, instead of relying on rng.Īnd again, you can only really bring 2 rares/legendaries + commons/uncommons from the shop. It only makes it take longer than it needs and potentially making me loose at ericha or erta if i get bad luck. If i take SB, even without using mystic, i can only beat the whole hardmode if i get at least decent rng. Having a good set/combo instead of SB+random relic is aways better. I dont really like it, but it is one of the "sure win" combos for hardmode. Combined with Alice/Criminal or/and wing+springs it can one shot most stuff and is one of the few options of ranged burst you can get in the game. Hecate by itself is a weapon that can assure you gonna get past Niff, the weapon is good to clear rooms and the reload is only an issue when swap quick shooting, wich it excels anyways, since the fire animation and reload time is pretty much the same. Muramasa is poor in both burst and consistent dmg, it doesnt really fit any role well except for a easy to use weapon in most of the cases.īS can be a nice find, but it doesnt worth to bring into the dungeon since it takes 1 of the only 2 rare/legendaries u can bring, also it wont do much in hardmode by itself. Both muramasa and SB have little value in hardmode or when you get used to the game.
